Cover Reveal! #RomanticSuspense #LoveUnderFire #99c Pre-Order #books

Who doesn’t love a cover reveal?  It’s so exciting to see the “face” of a book you’ve been working on, or in this case, the box set you’re contributing to.  That’s right, I am part of a fabulous Romantic Suspense Box Set, 21 tales of thrilling romantic suspense, mystery, and danger—all NEW stories from USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Amazon Bestselling Authors!  The best part?  We’re donating a large portion of our proceeds to Pets for Vets, a charity that pairs rescued animals with military vets in need of companion animals.  I am so, so happy about this.  As a huge fan of rescuing animals, and a daughter/granddaughter/wife of military veterans, this is so important to me.

Two of my three rescues -
Otis and Jinx
To get the ball rolling and maximize visibility, we’re offering the entire set for 99 cents—yes, 99 pennies for 21 books—if you Pre-order NOW.  That means you can order the set today, and have it hit your e-reader on release day, November 13, automatically—a fun surprise just in time for holiday travels and a little escapism when the chaos of the season gets too stressful, or a snowstorm gives you some time to unwind.  While it’s true that just a few 99 cent purchases might not make up a considerable donation, we’re going for thousands of downloads, with so many authors participating and a deal too good to pass up.  We hope you’ll help us meet our goal, and enjoy the stories and perhaps find some new authors to love!

Okay, without further ado…here it is, the box set cover of LOVE UNDER FIRE!

What do you think?  I love it!  And I also adore my personal cover for the story I’m contributing, The Haunting of Hillwood Farm.  Stay tuned for that cover reveal, and the cover reveals of each of the stories in the next few months!  Here’s a rundown of the authors and titles:

Kathryn Knight - The Haunting of Hillwood Farm
Stephanie Queen - Ace Under Fire
Casi McLean - Reign Of Fire
Valerie J. Clarizio – The Code Enforcer
Chris Patchell - Deception Bay
Aaron Paul Lazar - The Asylum: a Carmen Garcia romantic suspense novel

Thank you and Happy Reading!

Final #NetGalley days + Audio #Book Tour! #Romance #Suspense

"A real page-turner"
~ Net Galley reviewer, 5*s
First up: Last call for Net Galley requests for my new release! Dangerous Currents is a steamy second-chance romance filled with suspense and secrets.  Set on Cape Cod, it's an entertaining beach read with some edge-of-your seat twists.  If you're a NetGalley reviewer, I hope you'll check out the blurb and request the title here if you're interested--it comes down from NetGalley on 6/15.  One fateful night tore them apart...will they get a second chance before a killer strikes?

In other news, this past Sunday kicked off a week-long blog tour for Gull Harbor, a steamy romance mixed with a haunting mystery.  This title has been out for a while as both a print and a #1 Bestselling e-book, but it's brand new as an audio book, thanks to my publisher's decision to enter this growing market.  I'm very excited, as I listen to audio books all the time now, and it helps me get through twice as many books on my To-Be-Read list.

A dangerous ghost and an ex-boyfriend await psychic Claire Linden...
Steamy Romance meets Spooky Suspense

After 5 novels and 7 years in this business, I'm having trouble believing this is my first book tour ever.  So far, I'm really enjoying it!  Gull Harbor has had multiple stops per day, a I'm quoting some of my favorite lines from a few of the reviews here.  Page Princess gave it 5 *s and said, "I was actually kind of sad when I got to the end of this story.  Not because it doesn't have an HEA (Happily Ever After).  It does.  The story is more than wonderful.  I just didn't want to leave this world, this town, and these people.  So let me tell you about my friends."  Happy dance!  See the entire review here.

Lilly's Book World said, "I loved it and I loved the characters.  In regards to the overall story, Knight added the exact amount of mystery, the perfect dose of thrills and emotions.  Having the romance side also well created, I can say this is a complete book for me.  5 stars - great!"  See entire review here.

The entire audio book tour schedule for Gull Harbor can be found here.  Hope readers and listeners will stop by along the way and support all these great sites!  I'll be visiting and chatting at each site as well.  To grab your own copy of Gull Harbor on Audible (if you're just joining, you can get it FREE!), find it here.

Happy Reading/Listening!

Audio #Book Tour, #Review Wars, + #NetGalley! Busy #amwriting week

A tremendously busy week begins today, and I'm excited, nervous, and trying to keep up while also doing everything else that needs to be done, like my other job, feeding kids and pets, laundry, etc.  Wish me luck!

Today, Sunday, kicks off a week-long blog tour for Gull Harbor, a steamy romance mixed with a haunting mystery.

After 5 novels and 7 years in this business, I'm having trouble believing this is my first book tour ever.  So far, I'm really enjoying it!  Gull Harbor received two new reviews today, both of which made me smile!

The Book Junkie Reads said, "you get that heart-pounding intensity of drama with this paranormal romantic suspense with a mystery of flavor sprinkled in by the various twists and turns that are presented.  You could feel the skin chill and the goose bumps rise with the way things were unfolding."  And for the fabulous narrator, Kristin James, "There was something in the quality of her voice that drew you in and allowed one to feel connected."  Read the entire review here.

In my other writerly news, my latest release, Dangerous Currents, was selected to be reviewed by The Reading Review Wars, a site offering not one but two reviews of the same book, from His and Hers points of view.  I've been waiting nearly a month to see what everyone has to say, and the "war" goes live tomorrow, with a guest author serving as a judge to declare which reviewer does a better job defending their position on the plot, characterization, and writing style.  Look for it to go live tomorrow, Monday the 11th, here.  I hope for a lively discussion!

Dangerous Currents is a steamy second-chance romance filled with secrets and suspense, set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod.  In other words, an excellent beach read!  You can grab a copy on Amazon or, if you're a Net Galley reviewer, this title will be available to request until 6/15, and you can find it here.  Thanks for stopping by!  Now, back to that manuscript that's due to release in November...

Even with everything I have to do, I still find time to de-stress with a book!

Review Wars #Book Discussion goes live 6/11 - Read Along! #Romance #Suspense #NetGalley #amreading

I'm over the moon that my new Romantic Suspense release, Dangerous Currents, has been picked to be reviewed at Reading Review Wars, a site that offers His and Hers viewpoints in dual reviews of the same book!  This is a steamy second-chance romance, filled with suspense and secrets, set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod...a perfect beach read to get ready for the summer--so read along with us and join the conversation to see which review matches up with your feelings on the plot, world building, and overall writing style.  The "War" goes live on Monday, June 11, so you can make it your weekend read...in fact, the first three editorial reviews that have come in have called it a pretty quick read:

"The suspense of who-done-it leaves you on the edge of your seat." (Forget the Housework, I'm Reading)

"I found myself being pulled into the story at the beginning and never coming up for air until I finished the entire book."  (A Soccer Mom's Book Blog

"The tension that runs through Kathryn Knight's words, each scene and page, is razor-sharp...I love a story where I can honestly say 'I didn't see THAT coming!'"  (Tome Tender Book Reviews)

And, if you're a Net Galley reviewer, this title is up for request until 6/15, so you can grab your own review copy here.  One fateful night tore them apart...will they get a second chance before a killer strikes?

When a costly mistake ends Malorie Montgomery’s career, she returns to Cape Cod in search of a fresh start.  But her plans for a new—and quiet—life are quickly derailed when she makes a grisly discovery in the woods, and her screams bring the one person from her past she’d hoped to avoid.  Dean Slater, the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart in high school, now lives in the beachfront community that was supposed to be her haven…and he’s just as hot as he was six years ago.

With his rough background, Dean always knew he wasn’t good enough for the kind, intelligent beauty who claimed his heart, but somehow he’d believed their love was strong enough to survive anything—until the tragic night she turned her back on him when he needed her trust the most.  Despite their painful history, Dean can’t resist the instinct to protect her, especially when it becomes apparent there’s a killer in their town.

Their former chemistry soon reignites, but Malorie has long accepted that her dark family secret has destined her to a life alone.  And when she uncovers evidence that makes her the killer’s target, a deadly confrontation threatens to destroy any possibility of a second chance.
